Spring Planting
Pre-school - grade 2

This experience is designed to teach young children about the beginning of the growing cycle, and the link our food supply has to the farm. Students will get a lesson about the seed and then learn how to plant them in the field. We also transplant young marigold seedlings and learn about roots and watering and Sunshine, Each child will take their plant home. Spring planting also includes a hay wagon ride, time to play in our historic Barn (three story maze and slide), pet the baby animals, and have an ice cream treat!

The Corn Maze
4th -6th grade
Start your study of Washington State history and geography by experiencing the Washington State Corn Maze. Learning was never so much fun. Our 12 acre Maze is like walking across a giant map of our great state. Challenge your students to find information and gain perspective on the size and scope of Washington. We open for field trips in August, September and in October as weather permits. We have more information specific to teachers on the rules sheet page.
